CLIL IN TOURISM STUDENTS’ MULTICULTURAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT

The current study aims at implementation of the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) as an educational approach in tourism students’ multicultural competence development. To achieve goal, a mixed-method was chosen, which implied use quantitative qualitative research methods. method used to process test results students determine statistical significance obtained during experiment, analyse interpret results. 25tourism V. I. Vernadsky Taurida National University took part experimental 2020-2021 academic year. According results, due CLIL classes theoretical knowledge practical skills field tourism, ability interact with representatives other countries cultures solve professional problems conditions foreign language communication intercultural environment, have been increased. Additionally, knowledge, abilities students; pedagogical successful implementation; methodological recommendations for developing on base specifics implementing were defined. It concluded that development helps diversify learning university level facilitates communicative skills.
